Below are descriptions of some of the primary characters in the book Heirs of the King - The Princess of Power.
Nikki Newton
NIKKI NEWTON is the main character in the "Heirs of the King" book series. Best known for her bangs, her nails, her black patent vinyl jacket, and her ability to dance – she is the “Dancing Queen.” She’s one girl who's into both fishing and fashion. A good softball player, too. Photo by Howard Ham.
Scott McComb
SCOTT McCOMB is shows some much-needed interest in Nikki, at a time when she needs a friend. Good-looking punter and back-up quarterback from the school’s football team, this “Heir of the King” is the first to uncover the forces of evil at work in their school. His friendship with Nikki would continue to grow and grow, into something else?
Gina Giannini
GINA GIANNINI is the girl Nikki sits next to on her first bus ride to Bellevue High. Though not mentioned by name in chapter one of "The Princess of Power," Gina will play a key role in this book series. Photo by Howard Ham.

_______ Tommy Sturgeon
TOMMY STURGEON is another “Heir” and best buddy of Scott McComb. This tall dark-haired tight-end from the football team is also Scott’s favorite target to throw to. Not mentioned in the first three chapters of "The Princess of Power," but definitely a part of the action later on. (Tommy's Photo is needed-see "Want ads")
Jennifer Dornmeier
JENNIFER DORNMEIER is the spunky school flirt at Bellevue High. Not mentioned in the first three chapters of "The Princess of Power," Jennifer’s antics and wisecracks will definitely make their presence felt later on. This talented, self-confident girl really loves life. Photo by Howard Ham.
Donny Nowicki
DONNY NOWICKI is the first person from Bellevue High that actually speaks to Nikki, at their bus stop. This developing defensive back from the football team might be seen as a secondary character to some, but oh, how important he is to have around when the going gets tough. Photo by Cindy Ham. (Donny’s photo is needed – see “Want Ads”)
Rachel Vander Molen
RACHEL VANDER MOLEN reveals her nasty darkness to Nikki in a hurry, during a “not-so-nice” encounter in the school cafeteria in chapter two of "The Princess of Power." When combined with Sonya Kick and Tonya Butz (also known as Kick ‘n Butz), these girls form the most feared villains in all of Bellevue. Photo by Howard Ham.
Alex Morales
ALEX MORALES is Donny’s best buddy and “there-when-you-need-him” handy-man. Though not mentioned in the first three chapters of "The Princess of Power," his handsome Latin features will attract the attention of some admiring girl, but who?
Angeline Goodenough
ANGELINE GOODENOUGH is another “Heir of the King” who helps in the development of at least a few other “heirs.” This frosted-haired cheerleader is not mentioned in the first three chapters of "The Princess of Power," but the reader will still find her to be a very important character later on – find out why.

Sonya Kick & Tonya Butz (a.k.a. Kick 'n Butz)
SONYA KICK & TONYA BUTZ, also known as “KICK ‘n BUTZ” are two deceitful, dark-side accomplices of Rachel. Rebel Tonya applies her smarts from her defense lawyer parents. Sonya won’t tell us what her background is. In chapter two of "The Princess of Power," they give “naïve and unknowing Nikki” a lesson she’ll never forget.

Drip & Drud
DRIP & DRUD are the class jerks, and like Rachel, Kick ‘n Butz, they show their true colors to Nikki with some trouble-making antics in chapter two of "The Princess of Power." They will grace us with their presence later on in the book too, but why?
Dr. Martin
DR. MARTIN is the principal of Bellevue High School. Nikki Newton meets him for the first time, under "not the best" of circumstances. However, the Holy Spirit guides Nikki to speak the "Truth," and the "Truth" sets her free!
